A narrative based and sound focused video game demo
Le Feu Follet was inspired by the Cajun folklore of “le feu follet” which roughly translates to “crazy fire”. The goal was to create an immersive and interactive blend between traditional video games and an audio drama. Set in the spooky swamp, the main character Riley mysteriously crashes her car and injures herself. She spots a cabin in the distance, and the player, in control of her actions, tries to get her to safety. However, she encounters a number of these wisps who we later find out are haunting her for revenge.
The game was designed in Unreal Engine and the sound was implemented using Wwise. This demo is the final project in my Sound Design Masters program at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
